The department of IT explores new ways to deliver IT training and orientation sessions, developing a game-based learning experience offered to three different scenarios and audiences: The 2019 Faculty Forum, two of the Fall 2019 New Student Conferences, and the New Teaching Assistants orientation. The challenge was about finding five (5) keys to unlock a treasure. Each key involved exploring one topic about IT or Instructional Technology along a challenge. The last key included a mini-game using four digital puzzles to split the audience into teams. The product was developed using Adobe Captivate and Adobe creative cloud apps. The results were people engaged and able to understand the topics we presented.
