This four hour session covers 100 unique, common sense best practices for project management that can be used by anyone in any organization to improve the success of project management activities. The 100 best practices are grouped into 17 major categories, including: project managers, initial planning, communications, people, reviews and reports, contractors and contracting, working with technical staff, IT hardware, software, senior management and program management offices, program planning and budgeting, working with customers, management instructors, decision making, ethics and integrity, teamwork and avoiding failures. Applying these easy to use best practices to project management activities results in improved cost-effectiveness and quality throughout the organization.
